Summer Conservatory 2025
The Temple Theatre education staff is so excited to get the Summer Conservatories started. Munchkins & Monarchs & Music… OH MY! is the theme this year and we look forward to exploring some new musicals and challenging plays. There are numerous opportunities for students of all ages and we look forward to expanding our skills and bringing new life to classic theatre.
Summer Registration

A multi-student discount is available and here. Please fill out a separate form for each student and tally the total for all students on one form. We accept cash, check and credit cards. There will be a $3 processing fee for credit card transactions.
MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORYSESSION 1 is a two-week, full-day performance conservatory for ages 8 to 18 which culminates in a complete production in front of a live audience. Auditions will be held on the first day of session.
JUNIOR MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORY is an AUDITION ONLY one-week, full-day performance conservatory for ages 8 to 13, which culminates in a complete production in front of a live audience. Applicants will be accepted by audition only.
TEEN MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORY is an AUDITION ONLY two-week, full-day performance conservatory for ages 14 to 18, which culminates in a complete production in front of a live audience. Applicants will be accepted by audition only.
SHAKESPEARE THEATRE CONSERVATORY is an AUDITION ONLY two-week performance conservatory for students 13 to 18. Participants attend classes and rehearsals led by the Temple staff and professional guest instructors. This will culminate in a complete production in front of a live audience. Applicants will be accepted by audition only
MUSICAL THEATRE CONSERVATORYSESSION 2 is a two-week, full-day performance conservatory for ages 8 to 18 which culminates in a complete production in front of a live audience. Auditions will be held on the first day of session.
RISING STARS For children ages 4 to 7, RISING STARS offers 5 separate one-week themed sessions. Students will enjoy classes in music, art, drama and dance in a fun, positive environment. At the end of each week, students will share what they have learned with family and friends on the Temple Theatre stage.
Summer Auditions
An audition is required for advanced conservatories: How to Eat Like a Child, Footloose and Shakespeare’s HAMLET. Please submit a registration form prior to auditions to reserve a space. Registration must be paid and submitted prior to auditions. If you are a scholarship student or on a payment plan, you must arrange payment or submit a scholarship form prior to the audition.
The opportunity to audition for advanced conservatories and the 2025-2026 Mainstage Season: an in-person audition.
Casting decisions for the advanced conservatories will be made after the audition deadline and cast lists will be released at the latest by June 1, 2025.
Youth Scholarships Available
If cost is a barrier to participation for your child or someone you know, youth scholarships provide a way for more young performers to experience the arts. Financial assistance is available for the Summer 2025 Conservatory Registration.
