On Sat, March 16, 2024 at 7pm, the Temple Theatre will be rocking out for a great cause. Pittsboro, NC based non-profit Brightest Light is hosting a fundraiser for the Lee County Special Olympics called Eyes on the Prize. The Lee County Special Olympics is part of Special Olympics North Carolina which is one of the largest Special Olympics programs in the world. Their mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
