Gavan Pamer
Gavan Pamer is originally from Pittsburgh PA and is now a permanent resident of Sanford NC. In addition to his duties on the administrative staff, he is an actor, director, choreographer, music director, stage manager, and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. He received his musical theater training at Point Park University.
Gavan helped build Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland, PA serving as Founding Artistic Director and establishing the Professional Company, Student Company and Dance Company. He co-created Henry Mancini Arts Academy, the 50th All-Steinway School in the world, and Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School where he was Founding Director of Theatre and Director of Dance. He enjoyed a long association with Pittsburgh Musical Theater and was Artistic Director from 2001-2004.
Gavan was director of Temple Theatre’s Summer Conservatory in 2018. He was a faculty member of Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s Studio G and Young Performers Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, and Point Park University; instructing students in dance, acting and musical theatre.
