11/4/13 - Upon its closing, The Dixie Swim Club was the highest grossing 'non-musical' in Temple Theatre history, surpassing The Odd Couple (2011/12 season).

12/10/13 - Cecile McLorin Salvant's Womanchild has earned a Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album. She will be performing at the Temple 2/8/14.

1/3/14 - Mike Craver, an original member of The Red Clay Ramblers and the original musical director and arranger of Smoke on the Mountain, has committed to musically direct the Temple's production of Smoke... opening 2/20/14.

4/24/14 - Cats became the first opening night sellout in Temple Theatre history.

5/12/14 - Cats closed this weekend as the most successful Main Stage production in Temple Theatre's history.

11/7/14 - This year's winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing, John Reep, has contracted to appear at the Temple Theatre on Feb 20, 2015.

5/12/15 - The 2015/16 Temple Main Stage season is now complete. The last addition is Always a Bridesmaid, written by Jones, Hope, Wooten - the same folks that wrote the Temple's all-time best selling comedy, The Dixie Swim Club.

8/3/15 - The Tempest, Sanford's first ever Shakespeare in the Park, was a huge success, drawing over 1,000 patrons spread across the four shows.

8/17/15 - The two weekends of Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. closed as the two highest conservatory attendance weekends in the Temple's history.

9/11/15 - My Fair Lady opened to a sellout audience, marking the first season-opening sellout in Temple Theatre history.

9/27/15 - My Fair Lady closed as the biggest season opener in Temple Theatre's history. Thank you to everyone who came out to see this amazing show!
